G’day from Cambodia,

It will be Christmas next week and with our focus on the border hostilities and refugees rushing to the Siem Reap area, I have been distracted from sending out suggestions for Christmas giving.  Every year around this time, you will be looking for the perfect gift for your work colleague, friend, grandchild, adult children or neighbour.  As we look at the abundance we are fortunate enough to enjoy, maybe a gift that will focus on the less fortunate would be the perfect gift.

Cambodia’s poor live in rural areas. Cambodia Clean Water & Toilet Project has identified the most vulnerable families in the villages where we have been providing clean water and washroom toilets.  These are the widows, the elderly, the stroke victim, the land mine victim and ones living with a disability.

This Christmas, would you help us gift joy with a special food parcel to some of these families.  A donation of just $50 helps cover the cost of one food parcel. (25kg rice, eggs, fish, cooking oil, and hygiene essentials).

How it works:

  1. Donate to CCWTP bank account or GiveNow (QRCode)
  2. Copy the gift card photo (below)
  3. Share it with friends and loved ones

I hope this brings a smile to your face, knowing that your Christmas present will help a family in rural Cambodia.

Thank you for helping to bring hope to hard places this year. Your generosity has changed lives and communities in powerful ways.  Your support of the refugees has been wonderful.  You have made a difference.

Wishing you and yours a Blessed CHRISTmas.
