Clients are outfitted with clothes, including casual clothing, are given toiletries and supported with job readiness skills to help build up a tangible toolkit of skills.

Ready Set is a volunteer based organisation and since its inception in 2011, it has helped 12,000 people. 1000 people are supported yearly. Data shows us that 39% of its clients stay in one job and continue in that job. What a success story!

The old adage Clothes Maketh the Man certainly applies with people who are applying for their first jobs. Ready Set Rely on donations both privately and from businesses. Some of the businesses that assist Ready Set are Gazman, Cable, Perry Cutten and Aquila.

Ready Set are certainly a sustainable project. Nothing goes to landfill. Excess produce is given to Op shops and other organisations. Sales are an important source of revenue for Ready Set. Close that are not suitable for the workplace are sold to the general public. Just recently they had their latest Lux sale and sold 2,000 items. Last financial year, Ready Set was successful in obtaining a $1,000,000 government grant but this was for one year only. They mainly rely on philanthropy and sales.
