Hello Sue and members of the Rotary Club of Port Phillip
I hope you are doing well and staying healthy!
I’m excited to share with you about the wonderful activities I have done this month. I have gone through many activities, but I've chosen the best to share with you, and I hope you like it.

Let's start with my education at PUC University first. I have finished the midterm exam in Introduction to Ethics and I got a 19/20 score. Anyway, in the other two classes I will do the presentation in the Management & Leadership skills class and write the midterm paper in the Business planning class. This term was a bit busy for me as I needed to do many presentations and teamwork. By the way, I can learn from both classes as I can improve my presentation and exchange new ideas. My teammates are top students in class and they always share good ideas and feedback with me. I am happy to accept their feedback and comment on my part as I can improve my abilities.
Back in my Chinese class, we were very interested because our teacher brought the new concept for us to learn new things and improve the vocabulary as well. Every session we always learn new vocabulary and conversation at the same time. Through conversation it is related to the vocabulary that I learn from the teacher that helps me to translate the conversation easily. Beside this he often asks the students in class to practice Chinese language by reading the vocabulary and translating it to Khmer. This concept helps us a lot to remember the new words that he just taught us. He not only teaches us the vocabulary but also shares with us Chinese culture, so we all understand the situation when we use the Chinese language. I enjoyed this class so much even though sometimes it is very hard to pronounce the word but our teacher tries his best to teach us the right pronunciation. However, I do not promise to get a good result with both classes but I will try my best to study hard and improve my English and Chinese language.

In addition, I have an opportunity to join with Project W workshop as an educator at Kean Song kea high school. It is a good experience for me to teach the important lessons that are related to their daily life including hygiene, nutrition and how to use the safe water as well. During that day, I need to get up in the early morning because we must leave our campus to have breakfast then go to the school as soon as possible. Suddenly, some of the educators, including me, were a bit late because along the road there were so many people that they ruined the marathon in the early morning as well. When we arrived at school, both teacher and students were very welcoming to us, especially the school director who helped us to prepare for class and always checked up with our team to make sure everything was well organized. Moreover, our class runs smoothly even though some kids are a bit playful in the class but we understand that they were in grade 7. They are small kids but they try to involve us during the workshop. They are so brave to share about their process to filter water at their house. Some of them use the boiling water and some of them use the ceramic water filter tank. Through project W I can see that some of the kids in the rural area don't have enough clean and safe water to use in their daily life. More than this, they don’t know about the method to filter the water. In my opinion, project W can help them a lot through providing safe water and teaching the importance lesson to all the kids in the Kean Song kea high school at the same time. I am happy to be involved with project W because I’m not only getting a good experience but helping back the community at the same time.

Last but not least, I joined the monthly sport activity. It was very fun and enjoyable. We travelled to the countryside near Phnom Krom. The place was very beautiful, especially for watching the sunset with the green rice field. The view there was peaceful and fresh. I really loved the feeling of being close to nature. Before we could enjoy the sunset, we travelled about 30 minutes from our campus to Phnom Krom. When we arrived, the sports team introduced the team building games. We had three different games. One of the most interesting games was after we won, we could take materials for cooking. We were allowed to choose ingredients like vegetables, meat, fish, and other cooking items. It made the game more exciting and meaningful. After that, we worked together to cook our food and make it special. This part was very enjoyable because we learned how to cooperate and support each other to win the game. Everyone had a role, some of my team prepared the vegetables, some cooked the food that we had discussed with our team, and others helped with the fire and cleaning. We shared ideas and helped each other to make the food taste good. It showed me that if we want to win and achieve our goal, we need to build strong teamwork because it is a very important point to success. For me, this activity is very good and meaningful for everyone. After helping our community and focusing on our studies, we also can spend time relaxing and enjoying ourselves together. Spending time like this with CRST students feels like being with my second family. It was a special and happy day for me and I hope we can spend more special time with CRST members before I graduate.

Finally, I would like to say thank you so much for your valuable time reading my email every month. I wish you staying healthy and more happiness with your family. I also attached some pictures about my activities below.

Best Regards
