Hello Sue and member of the Rotary Club of Port Phillip
I hope you’re doing well and staying healthy!
I am very excited to share with you about my journey and my activities in December. This month I will share with you both good and bad things from my journey.
Let’s start with my health in November. I was staying at the hospital for one week because I had Bronchitis. At first, I had a high fever (39 degrees), a strong headache, and muscle pain. My symptoms are very similar to influenza. I had a worse condition on 23rd November and I decided to contact the Health team to bring me in for a check-up with the doctor. The doctor said I had influenza and they provided me with some serum and medicine, but it did not really work. More than this, I became weak and my mental health also broke down. I lose my food interests, overthink, and I can’t sleep at night. I was worried too much about my health, that’s why it made my mental health go down easily. However, the doctor observed my symptoms again and they decided to x-ray my lungs and check my breathing carefully. As a result, I had Bronchitis and I needed to stay more days at the hospital because the doctor needed to monitor my condition and make sure I fully recovered. After I left the hospital, I had learned an important lesson from this experience one week at the hospital. I learn to value my health because the importance of wealth is staying healthy, not just money. I want to say thank you and appreciate all the health team who put effort into taking care of me while I'm in a bad condition. Thank you so much!

Besides this, I want to update you about my studies at PUC University. I have completed my final exam on the 8th December and now I’m waiting for the final result. During I stay at the hospital, I was kept in class many times. That's why my final exams are not really good. I will get low scores especially in Macroeconomics class. It was very hard and there were a lot of questions such as multiple choices, true or false, exercise, and explaining the diagram. All these questions, explained the diagram, were very very difficult than other questions. I was stuck because I really don’t know how to draw the diagram and explain the concept. Anyway, I started the new term already taking three courses such as Business planning & Policy, Introduction to Ethics and Management & Leadership development skills. Actually, the new term has started but some classes have not started yet, so I can have time to enjoy my life, maybe two or three more days. Back to my TDSO class it was very wonderful as teachers had a new project for us to do. This project was very interesting because we were allowed to create one product that quince from other products on the free market and then do the presentation to convince others to invest in our product. Our team discussed creating a technology keychain that puts GPS into the keychain and connects to our smartphones. After that we devised a part for each member to complete unfortunately I was sick and stayed at the hospital. My team needed to cover all my parts. I was so upset that I couldn't help to complete our presentation but I also appreciated both of my team, Sreykeo and Chhean. Even though they missed one member, they still worked hard to complete our presentations. However, I will start hard in both University and TDSO classes and try my best to get a good result as much as possible.

Last but not least, this month Aviv, Michelle, Jess, Aaron, and Steph come to visit us in early December. It was a wonderful moment for CRST students to spend time with all of them. They flight from Australia to visit us in Cambodia. It was so far away but our hearts content each other like a family, so this is the reason that I said it was a wonderful moment for us. We have prepared many schedules to spend time with them such as a welcome party, Running Marathon, football matches, Movies, watching sunset, and Karaoke singing but it is not really karaoke because all of us enjoy dancing rather than singing. Not only the fun activities but we also spend time with them to join Bike donations events and visit family in the rural area as well. They are not just supporting us to contribute to education but they also teach us to get a good experience by giving back to our community through NGO projects and programs. On the last day they flight back, all our students were emotional including me because one week was too fast for us. To be honest, they like my second family that I always think of when I face the problem. They are always by my side to inspire, encourage, motivate and change our futures through their support. I am very grateful for the opportunity that they give me without their support. Maybe I can’t stand here. Their support really means to me and I will never forget the hand that picked me up from the hard conditions. I truly appreciate it.

Finally, I would like to say thank you so much for your support and valuable time reading my emails every month. I hope you are healthy and happy in your life. I also attached some pictures of my activities below. I hope you enjoy reading my emails.
