Hello Sue, Bronwyn and members of the Rotary Club of Port Phillip
I hope you are doing well and staying healthy!
I am so excited to share with you about my activities and my study in September. I had been through many activities and it was wonderful for me having a chance to join those activities.

Firstly, I would like to share with you about my study both at University and the IELTS program with CRST. My studies at PUC are going smoothly right now even though I had a lot of individual and group assignments from my professor but we can complete it on time. More than this, I also had two group presentations from Labor & industrial and Fundamental of global business management class. For the Labor & industrial class, we already did a presentation last week and it’s going smoothly through an online presentation and it was done very smoothly with all my classmates and our professor. However, the Fundamentals of global business management class project presentation in the process and my team and I will present our project on Saturday this week. Not only this, we also have a final individual research from this class as well. So, I have been very busy with my university class lately. Anyway, I will try my best to manage the time to complete all the assignments on time and get a better result as much as I can. Back to my IELTS program, it was very wonderful even sometime I feel the too hard for me to understand about advance vocabulary but I still enjoy with this class because our teacher always bring us the banana every Friday to motivate us to keep continuous to study hard. Moreover, I had to learn new words from every reading session even though I can't get a full score from the reading session but after that our teacher always explains the critical words one by one to make sure all the students understand the meaning and use the right pronunciations.

In addition, I also have an opportunity to visit and deliver food supplies to the family in Bakong district. We meet each other at our campus in the early morning around 6:50 AM and then we leave to have breakfast at the small restaurant near our campus as well. After we finished breakfast, we went to the Samaki market to pick up some supplies that the Family Support team ordered one or two day before our mission. We need to check everything to make sure all the supplies are enough for the family that we plan to visit such as rice, meat, noodles, ingredients, and soap. Then we left the market and went to drive directly to the first family which is 15 km from Siem Reap city. Along the way, we enjoyed the green season in the morning that made us feel relaxed and fresh with the rice field and vegetable garden that villagers plan in their homeland. When we arrived at both families they all were very welcome to us. We don't just give them the food supply and come back but we all sit down and spend time with them at least 30 min per family and they always share with us about their life, health, and especially about their children's education. Both families always say thank you to the sponsor and our team again and again that have supported them for a long time ago, especially encouraging their children to keep continuing their education. For me, I am very grateful to all the sponsors and FS team that give me an opportunity to visit the family and spend a good time with them. I hope I have more opportunities to join these activities again in the next future.

Last but not least, I also had a wonderful time joining Community Service activities last weekend. It was so amazing for me because I had the chance to join both the pre-building day on Saturday and the house-building day on Sunday. On that day, we left very early in the morning because the family we planned to build a house for lives far away from the city, which is about 70km away. It took us around two hours to arrive. Actually, we had already prepared the main structure and the setting on the previous day. On Sunday, we continued working together to complete the house. When we arrived, everyone was ready to start working. Some students worked on the walls, while others helped with the roof and other parts of the house. I also tried my best to help wherever I could. It was not always easy because we had to work for many hours, but everyone was supporting each other and working as one team. For me, the most meaningful part was seeing the family’s happiness. They were very thankful to receive a safe and better place to live. It reminded me that even small actions can make a big difference in someone’s life. I was also happy to see our students working together, sharing their skills, and helping each other. This experience was not only about building a house. It was also about building teamwork, kindness, and stronger connections with the community. After we finished the house, I felt very tired, but at the same time, I felt proud and grateful to be part of this meaningful activity. It was truly an experience I will remember.
Finally, I would like to say thank you so much for your valuable time reading and reply back to me every month. I really appreciate your heart supporting me and I wish you staying healthy and happy every day.
Best Regards
Sreypich
