I would like to share with you my activities in April. I have a lot of activities this month. Every month, I go through a lot of happy and sad things but I decided to share with you only my happy activities. First, I will tell you about my study at PUC University. I have recently completed my midterm exam this month and have a 40/40 score in accounting class, 93/100 in academic research class, and 100/100 communication class. I am really happy with these results. Now I am preparing for the final exam in early May. I am a bit nervous about the final exam because in accounting class it was very difficult for me. I am afraid that I cannot get a good score like midterm exam results. However, I will spend more time focusing on all the lessons and try to practice again and again to make sure that I understand the lessons. One more thing, I promise to attend the class every day and listen to the teacher as much as I can. I hope this term I can get a better score than last term.

Second thing, I went to visit my family in my hometown in Battombong province during the Khmer New Years season. I traveled for 4 hours to reach my hometown because it is very far away from Siem Reap province. On that day, I also buy some fruit and new clothes for my grandparents and my parents as well. When I arrived home, my family was so surprised because I didn't tell them that I would be back home on the 12th. In the morning on the 13th, my grandma and I went to the market near my house to buy some fruit, cake, meat, and some ingredients to prepare for Khmer New Years. In Cambodian culture, we pretend that angels will come and take all the fruit and food, so the angel will bless us. We also had a small party with my family and it was a wonderful time for me because I can visit my hometown two per year during Khmer New Years festival ang Phum Ben festival as it is a long holiday. Next day is also a special day as well, it is the day that we celebrate Khmer call ( Srang Preas). We do this for cleansing of sins committed in the old year to take back the blessings of the glorious new year, especially for peace, prosperity in the family. It's a very special day for me and my family to enjoy the Khmer New Years.
In addition, I joined Mobile By Mechanic (MBM) at Pol Pel secondary school. During that day, I worked as a cooking team. It was a great time that I got up at 4:30PM to prepare myself because we will leave our campus at 6 o'clock. When we arrived at school, we had breakfast together and most of our students started to fix a lot of bikes for the children and our cook team started to cook food for lunch. We cook two foods and a dessert that Khmer call (Mchou Krueng and loklak). It is a delicious food in Cambodia and also my favorite food as well. We spend maybe three to four hours preparing lunch. After that, we have lunch together at 12 o'clock and then we take a break for maybe 30 minutes, so we continue to fix the bike and the cooking team starts to prepare our material as well. As a result, we fixed 148 bikes for the children at Pol Pel secondary school. It was wonderful that we fixed 148 bikes in only one day. Finally, we do reflasion with the school director and he was surprised and appreciative of us because he never thought that we could fix a lot of bikes in one day. He also thanks our students that repair bicycles for children who lack transportation to school. For me, I am really proud of our students that we have a beautiful heart and are helpful to our society. We don't have the money but we have a million hearts for our community. I hope after we repair a bike they can go to school every day and enjoy their study.

Best regards
Sreypich
