I spent a very productive morning followed by a delicious lunch with ZONTA gals and friends stuffing 205 cushions and threading 50 bags for patients ho have had mastectomies. The cushions protect the site of the surgery and the bags are used to house the cushion or to carry the surgical drainage tubes whilst in use. Unfortunately, there is always a high need for these simple but necessary items. Many thanks to Jenniifer R and Wedy C for gathering the volunteers together.
