The Rotary Club of Melbourne South was delighted to provide seed funding for Greeves St Recycled in 2016 and followed this up with in-kind support in the form of manual labour, shelving, and other items to refurbish the store.

Since then, the club has been actively involved in volunteering at the Op Shop on a fortnightly basis and assisting the Operations Manager with the volunteer roster as well as mentoring on an ad-hoc basis.

We have been pleased to see the Op Shop take shape and the impact it has had on the local community.

It is a vibrant and appealing space that has become a hub in the local community. Greeves St Recycled engages with local artists, businesses, and community groups in addition to supporting women who are exiting street sex work.
