Through Rotary's generosity, APYC have been able to organise the WinterSail regatta, giving youth sailors affordable access to training and development by high quality coaches.
It is impressive to see the confidence and resilience gained by the sailors over 3 days, in sometimes challenging winter conditions.
Whilst it is exciting to follow the sailors who go on to successfully compete in the sport of sailing, it is equally gratefying to see the quiet self assurance gained by those sailors for whom completing the 3 day event is a challenge in itself.
It was great to host Pam, Wendy and Bronwyn at APYC, to have Pam welcome the sailors in her address, and to gain insights into Rotary programs.
Thanks also for your amazing efforts, in managing APYC's important relationship with Rotary.
We have a certificate of appreciation for you to give Wendy and Rotary when you next meet.
Kind regards,
Rob Hart
