Port Phillip Rotary is one of Backpacks 4 Vic Kids esteemed VIP Supporters, and an invitation to attend their Annual Giving Day (AGD) was extended for May 10th. Pam Dittmer, Leonard Levy and Wendy Stirling attended the event.

We were invited you to bring along a giant cheque representing our generous contribution. We brought along a cheque for $2,000, which represented a very generous donation of $1,500 from Leonard Levy and the club added $500 to round it up. Our symbolic gesture will inspire others and showcase your dedication to our cause.
Pam Dittmer and Leonard Levy both shared a few words about why we chose to support the mission. Our personal insight and passion are invaluable in motivating others to join us in our efforts.
We had some fun! Interactive games and activities were added as an extra element of excitement to the day. It is a fantastic opportunity to mingle with fellow Backpacks 4 Vic Kids supporters and the BP4VKs team.
Sally showed us through the warehouse, which assists the 16,000 children in out of home care annually and sadly that statistic is growing. There are over 80,000 children (size 0000 through to 18 year olds) across Australia each year.
Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Sally Beard, the CEO, thanked all of us for our unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to their organisation.

As we know, Marg Hamilton is the master of networking and has come across a rather lovely elderly citizen who loves to knit and crochet. Marg has been able to bring a load of baby hats and jumpers donated by her friend for the babies going into care through Backpacks4VicKids. Many, many thanks.
