MAC ROBERTSON GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL INTERACT CLUB
FOR A MEAL PACKING DAY
The Mac Rob Interact Club have once again shown themselves to be outstanding organisers. I contacted the team to ascertain how much more had to be achieved before the packing day. As it has turned out, a lot of nervous energy expended on my part for no reason at all. Please see the email I received from Chloe, the co-president.
"The packing will be going ahead on Wednesday 7th August, with a small handful of students to help setup from 8:00am to 9.24am. We will have 5 packing sessions from 9:24am to 2:19pm, with a break from 10:18 to 10:43 and a lunch break for external volunteers who are coming in from 12:31 to 1:15 (our executive team members will take charge in organising the packing whilst they have their lunch break). At the conclusion of the 5th packing session, we have another small handful of volunteers to pack up until 3:13pm.
We will have around 60 volunteers in each session, and 40 during the session where external volunteers will have their lunch break. As such, we will most likely not need much assistance from Rotarians, but thank you very much for the offer! We won't have any parent volunteers, but teachers will be present to oversee the process.
Lastly, we will have around 4-5 students who will help set up the day before, on the 6th of August. The location will be the same as last year."
You are invited to come along to view the process on the day at the school. Please sign in at the front office and present your Working With Children Check.
