Every baby deserves the strongest possible start in life. The Rotary ClubPort Phillip is proud to be part of the Rotary Butterfly Bed Collective, a group of Rotary Clubs coming together to sponsor a NICU bed at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne.

When Rotary Clubs work together, small contributions create a big impact by helping provide critical care for our youngest and most vulnerable patients and giving families hope during their most challenging moments.

Hi everyone,

I’m delighted to let you know that on Monday we transferred the $7,500 sponsorship payment to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation for our NICU bed sponsorship.

Thank you all for your support and generosity in making this possible. Together, we are helping provide vital care for some of our community’s youngest and most vulnerable patients.

As mentioned previously, we are planning a tour of the hospital in September, which will include morning or afternoon tea with the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation team. Further details will be provided closer to the date.

The Rotary Collective name will be added to the recognition board outside the NICU in August, and I will share photos once this has been completed. To help keep the story alive and showcase the impact of this sponsorship, I will send a social media post every four months for clubs to use if they wish.

Thank you again for being part of this wonderful project.

Best wishes,

Mandy Gosetti
