Hello Sue and member of the Rotary Club of Port Phillip

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy! I was very excited to write this email to share with you about my journey that I have involved with my community and study this month. I hope you like and enjoy reading my email.

Let's start with my study at University. I have completed my final exam this term and I am really happy with my result. I got A+ in Microeconomic principle subject, A in Human Resource subject, and A- in ASEAN Government subject. I was very excited when I received the result from school that I got all A in this term even though I got one A- but at least I can increase my GPA to 3.70 again. To be honest, I was very upset with my result in the last term that I got only B+ and C+ and it really affected my GPA. Anyway, I try to accept it and bring my mistakes as the lesson learned, as a result I can make it happen to get a good result like what I promised with you and myself to improve my academic performance.
However, I have already started the new term and I am taking three courses like before such as Macroeconomics principle subject, Budget technique & project management and Technical writing for business. All this subject is really hard for me, especially Macroeconomics and Budget technique. It is a very critical subject that requires us to calculate and understand the concept of the lesson. We need a specific answer and we can’t add our own ideas like other subjects. Beside this, my TDSO class was very enjoyable. My teacher has a new project that we form as a group that has three or four people. In this project we need to choose one of the novel books that we have read and then summarize it to other team members. After we share our story to each other we decide to choose one of the stories and rewrite it to make the ending different from the original one. I really enjoy this project because we can exchange ideas and learn a lot of new things from my teammate. However, I will commit to studying hard for both my TDSO class and my university class. I will do my best to improve myself and get a good result.
In addition, I have an opportunity to join the Project G workshop again at Paul Dubrule. It was a wonderful experience that I can join as an educator to share my knowledge and inspire the female students to know about their potential and demonstrate. When I joined the project G workshop I knew that Project G is not only to teach the women about health education but also inspire and empower all the women and girls in the rural area to understand that they have the right to get a higher education and chase their dream like the men.
During our shared session, I can say that it was so amazing because all the students in my class were involved with us. They paid full attention, wrote down the important points, and they were so brave to answer all my questions. Even some parts of the lesson make them shy but they still open their minds to learn and ask a lot of questions that are related to our topic. More than this, they were interested in the Project G kit because it was very new for them. They always use the sanitary napkin to control their period but after they learned about the advantages of our kits, they were interested because it can save our environment, not affect their health, and save money at the same time. After I joined this workshop I am so proud of all our educators, especially the project G team that worked hard to run this effective project. It is very very helpful to our community and all the female students to understand about their health and also motivate them to protect our environment by using kits. I am thankful to the project G team that is giving me wonderful activities that will be a part to help back to my community. I hope I can get a chance to join the Project G workshop again next time.
Last but not least, I would like to share with you about integration day. It was a very incredible event in our CRST. We are really happy to welcome our new students to our CRST family. This year we have ten bright students from different places and we can’t wait to see them learn and grow together. During that day, our event started at 8:00 am in the morning. Some CRST students have their own responsibilities, including me. I have responded on record and attended all our CRST and our new students as well. Our event starts with talking about the process of selecting the candidate who is the bright student and fits our criteria and also introduces our NGO background to new students and their parents as well. After that, it is the time that we need to know about reflection from our new star. They seem very very excited and happy that they can have an opportunity to join our family. They are very curious to learn and develop themselves through our NGO project as well. I can't wait to see our next generation with their full potential to grow up and develop themselves.
Like me, I am a girl who was born in a poor family, without CRST I can’t see how I can chase my dream and study at University like other people.  CRST provides a lot of opportunities for me to grow up, encourage, and develop my abilities. And I hope our new students will get a very good chance to continue their education. Lastly, I want to thank CRST for always giving a hand up to all the students who stay in the taught condition to chase their dream.

Finally, I would like to say thank you so much for your support for me for a long time. I really appreciate your heart. I also attached some pictures of my activities as well. I hope you like it.

Have a good day with your family,

Best regards
