What better way to refresh those skills and techniques in time for the coming summer series.

The event program combines skills improvement, challenges, short course racing on Sunday afternoon, and lots of fun meeting friends.  There was a relaxed free BBQs on Friday and Saturday after sailing, plus great food and drinks to purchase from APYC's galley. Presentations after racing on Sunday recognised effort and reward results.

Family and friends were welcomed to take in the superb views from the Club's upper deck, relax in the warm club rooms, and enjoy APYC hospitality and refreshments.

Port Phillip Rotary was a proud sponsor of the race.  This year Milla F G, Pam D and Wendy S attended the opening ceremony where Milla was invited to speak , which she di very ably.

The audience were introduced to the coaches, then the participants were assigned to the coaches.

There was such a buzz of anticipation in the room and as the participants alighted their craft, the excitement was very high.

What a wonderful opportunity to skill young people in such an historic activity.
