Well, that's a wrap for Wintersail 2025! WinterSail is a friendly 3-day coaching and racing regatta for green fleet to advanced junior and youth sailors, held on the sheltered waters of Albert Park Lake.
Port Phillip Rotary sponsor the race to support the youth who may not be able to attend. Pam Dittmer attended on Friday morning, welcoming and then addressing the participants, coaches, parents and Albert Park club members. Well done, Pam.
Three amazing days of coaching, skills, practice and drills. Light wind, strong wind and everything in between. It was great to see such fun and friendships on and off the water. Everyone learned, practiced and improved. Well done everyone.
A huge thanks to all the volunteers, organisers, coaches and especially the Galley crew. Amazing work! The event supporters are Ronstan and Port Philip Rotary.
Bronwyn attended during the afternoon and on the Sunday, I attended the final races. A very exciting finish!
